Membership (400 members) in the Hellenic Psychological Society requires the Ph.D. in psychology. Associate membership, which has no voting rights, is granted to those holding the equivalent of the B.S. or M.S. in psychology.

A National Committee of Psychology has been organized by the Hellenic Psychological Society and the Association of Greek Psychologists with the goals of dissemination of psychological knowledge, promotion of psychological research, consultant to government, and maintenance of ethical principles in psychological research and applied psychology.
