Signed into law on 16 March 2010, Republic Act No. 10029, otherwise known as the Philippine Psychology Act of 2009, seeks to regulate the practice of psychology and psychometrics in the Philippines by creating the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology and requiring psychologists and psychometricians to pass a Licensure Examination.
