The Slovene Psychological Association consists of the following 19 divisions: child and adolescent psychology, clinical psychology and psychotherapy, cross-cultural psychology and psychosocial anthropology, economic psychology, educational psychology, foreign psychologists, forensic psychology, health psychology, international relations, marketing and consumer psychology, military psychology, occupational medicine, psychological study of social issues, psychologists at universities and in research settings, psychology students, social care, social psychology and interdisciplinary studies, sport psychology, traffic psychology, well-being and life-quality development, and work psychology.

The Association also has four commissions on psychodiagnostic instruments, professional ethics, development and scientific affairs, and a regional association from the city Maribor.

To qualify for membership in the Slovenian Psychological Association one must have a Diploma in Psychology at the University of Ljubljana or nostrification of a Diploma in Psychology from abroad.

The general purpose of the Slovenian Psychological Association is the promotion of psychological science and the profession. The number of members is 400.
