1900 - The first Brazilian research study published

The first Brazilian research study in experimental psychology was published by Henrique Roxo. Roxo's study, Duration of the Elementary Psychic Acts, was a M.D. dissertation, written under the supervision of Teixera Brandão. Roxo's work is considered to be the first psychological experiment written in Portuguese.
