A laboratory in experimental medical psychology was established in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The Laboratory of Psychology of the Colony of Psychopaths in Engenho de Dentro operated until 1932 and became the center for training early psychologists in Rio de Janiero. Polish psychologist Waclaw Radecki directed the laboratory.
