1912 - First laboratory of experimental psychology in the Czech Republic

Mihajlo Rostohar developed the first laboratory of experimental psychology in the modern Czech Republic, at the Charles University Faculty of Medicine in Prague. In 1926, Rostohar established the Institute of Psychology at Masaryk University in Brno "partly to educate our members in autonomous scientific research in Psychology using experimental empirical methods, partly to prepare students of the Faculty of Arts for teaching at secondary schools."
