The first International Congress on Behaviorism and the Sciences of Behavior was convened in Guadalajara, Mexico. Fred S. Keller and William N. Schoenfeld were honorary presidents of the meeting. Since 2000, the conferences have been titled "International Congress on Behavior Studies."
