The U. S. Territory of Guam approved prescription privileges for psychologists trained in the use of psychoactive drugs (30 December). Prescription privileges previously had been extended to trained psychologists in the U. S. military, but this was the first U.S. civilian government to license psychologists to prescribe drugs.
