2002 - Kenya Psychological Association (KPsyA) statement on mental health as a basic human right |

The Kenya Psychological Association (KPsyA) proposed to the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission that the nation's constitution provide for the office of "Psychology General" at the national policy-making level (15 July). The KPsyA asserted that mental health is a basic human right that should be recognized in a new constitution.
