Psychology Without Borders was founded as an outgrowth of the first International Assembly on Managing the Psychology of Fear and Terror in Austin, Texas, USA. The organization was later renamed Psychology Beyond Borders. Psychology Beyond Borders is an international organization that facilitates intervention, research, education, policy development and community building in areas impacted by terror or disaster.
