Regulation of Education -Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)

Psychology Programs in Australia are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) http://esango.un.org/paperless/Web?page=static&content=about

The primary purpose of APAC is to set national standards for the education and training of psychologists and to accredit courses which meet these standards. Late in 2008, under arrangements set down in the Health Practitioner Regulation (Administrative Arrangements) National Law Act 2008, the Ministerial Council assigned to APAC the accreditation functions for the psychology profession for the triennium commencing in July 2010.
