The creation of diagnosis and psychotherapy centers in Sudan. The Center of Al Takwa Kahala: A descriptive analytical study

Based on the fact that the psychological diagnosis is considered to have an essential role in psychological tools, the idea of creating centers for diagnosis and psychotherapy in Sudan came out. The center of Takwa Kahala was founded in 1993 and played a key role in the development of psychology in Sudan. Its goals were divided into the following units: A psychological diagnosis and evaluation unit, a psychotherapy unit, a psycho education unit (including social rehabilitation), a training unit, Unit of education and training for persons with special needs. It standardized the L Form (as a 1st edition) and the 4th version (as a 2nd edition) of the Stanford-Binet scale of intelligence (children between the age of 4 and 14 and patients with mental disability between the age of 4 and 34). In the L Form a scale for children with special needs was added. The sample reached 625 children and the scale was applied 3 times to ensure its validity. In the 2nd the researcher used the experimental and descriptive analytical method, and the analytical behaviorist-psychometric approach. She also used the methods of conditional learning theories. She also did a longitudinal study of 20 years to prove the spiritual side in the learning process. The sample reached 4,950 patients whose ages ranged from 1 year to 60 years and above.
