The techniques of psychotherapy for prevention of anxiety in Sudan

Copy The period we are living in is called "the anxiety period" where anxiety spreads among individuals and groups in an increasing way. The importance of this paper comes from the effect of anxiety on society development and progress, where anxiety represents the highest percentage in psychological disorders and where it is considered almost as a representation of all psychiatric disorders. The statistics indicated that the highest probability to have anxiety is between the range of 20 to 30 years of age, in the young working population. The pathological anxiety does not affect the individual only but expands on the rest of the family members and the surrounding society.

This paper aims to:

  • clarify the results of the clinical research that was done to compare among the best techniques in Psychotherapy for anxiety in Sudan.
The research was made on patients suffering from anxiety, who received their therapy in Bahri Hospital for Psychological and Psychiatric disorders in Khartoum.

  • clarify how to benefit from these techniques in preparing psycho-educational programs, to help patients with anxiety and the rest of the society members to control Anxiety and reduce its occurrence.
