Beginning with an explanation of the purpose and definition of credentialing, Dr. Hall will explain why credentialing is needed for countries developing the academic discipline and practice of psychology, how it is used, and address false assumptions about credentialing. Recommendations will focus on developing a sound credentialing program and will address why psychologists would seek credentials. Examples will be drawn from organizations in the US, Canada and Europe, where possible. |
