The role of psychology in peace making

Copy Since the beginning of time, the relation with others and peace making in the world has been an important focus for human development and its effectiveness in realizing the best productivity on earth. Since human's tendency was always toward humanity, luxury and health promotion, we should consider that a healthy environment is the ideal one that guarantees professional, social, and personal adjustment to the individual, and that it relies on the agreement with the other and on his acceptance, cooperation and positive interaction. Nothing is offered easily, it's always the result of a long and tough effort, where scientists and society leaders work hard in processing tools and knowledge that lead to it. Efforts, interests, and need for peace where we live have increased. Now this world is suffering from a general suffocation and from a difficult conflict. What we see now represents a threat that could be followed by even worse if the world continues on this direction. When Psychology was the science specialized in the study of individual behavior and human being in all his forms, however was his understanding, explanation, reinforcement, prediction or compromise, this made him the common study goal among different sciences, each of which has a duty and a role in realizing this major human goal. This theoretical paper attempts to discover the important role of Psychology in peace making. It attempts also to define its relations, missions and obstacles in building a peaceful world and in determining what tools are the best to use to accomplish this mission. Then the paper concludes on many results through the use of an analytical method on the base of which many recommendations can be presented in order to reach the targeted goal.
