Copy The study aimed to determine the efficiency of the program used in improving parents' reaction toward stuttering, to determine the relation of the program with the family's educational level, and to determine the efficiency of the program on the age of the child with the disorder.

The research is semi experimental without control group. Its results were:

  • The program is efficient in improving parents' reaction toward stuttering. Its efficiency is not affected by the parents' educational level.
  • It provides therapeutic environment that helps improving stuttering.
  • Its effect is positively correlated with the patient's age.
  • The more important the program's efficiency is on the parents, the less stuttering in children is observed.
