The paper starts with an introduction that clarifies its subject and its method. Then the paper studies theoretically the basic concepts on which the study relies on: for example the meaning of sexual abuse and the child's perception of it. Then the paper studies the importance of this phenomenon, on the statistical side, and its different forms. After that the paper examines the social and psychological effects on both personalities: the children's and their abusers. Then it examines the psychological and social effects on the victims and on the society and its negative reflection on the whole economical and social motion.
Following this idea the paper focuses on the cohesion/disintegration factor in the family and the effect of social development, on the role of orientation tools and their effects on the cultural values system, all this by pointing out on the environmental heterogeneity in modern regions.
The paper examines also the organized and unorganized reaction towards this phenomenon, and the solutions for this phenomenon. The paper concludes after analyzing the above, by suggesting more efficient solutions. Also the paper questions the possibility of applying treatment methods such as scientific recommendations, sexual education and legislative intervention.
The paper points out the importance of Psychotherapy compared to the treatment methods. It clarifies the conditions and the possibilities of its application according to the environmental facts. Finally the study shows the relation between the subject and children's rights. |
