This paper highlights the importance of dealing with abused children and their families; it discussed different patterns of physical and sexual abuse and their different clinical presentations, as well as different kinds of therapies for abused children and their families.
It also stressed the importance of collaboration between the services and the people concern with the child care, and emphasizes the role of prevention and education in dealing with this problem.
In the last section, the effect of such abuse on the life of the child is explained. At the end, the author's experience in dealing with such cases is elaborated. |
