A cross-cultural study for the emotional creativity construct and its correlates |

The idea of emotional creativity is based on a social constructionist view of emotion as extended to individual development. The aim of the present study is to examine the construct of emotional, its correlates in western culture. A number of questionnaires and scales have been applied to the related variables such as verbal intelligence scale, personality traits questionnaire, creative personality questionnaire, and locus of control, emotional intelligence and a translated version of Averill's emotional creativity questionnaire. The study sample consisted of 606 undergraduate second year student at Banha faculty of education, Zagazig University. Correlational and factor analysis was conducted and the results will be available at the conference. |
