Editorial Board: South African Journal of Psychology

The Psychological Society of South Africa invites nominations for the Editorial Board of the South African Journal of Psychology (SAJP). The SAJP is embedded in a rich and long history over many decades, and is one of the most widely circulated psychology journals on the African continent. The three-year term for these honorary positions begins in July 2013. Prospective Editorial Board members will be seasoned researchers and academics with extensive records in academic publishing and peer-reviewed scholarly works. The positions involve providing an advisory role to the Editor and his team and conducting peer review assessments on at least three manuscripts each year. Please nominate only individuals who will be committed to providing this level of input to the SAJP. Nominations should be emailed to Ms Fatima Seedat at fatima@psyssa.com by 31 May 2013.

APA-IUPsyS Global Mental Health Fellowship

Psychologists with research experience and leadership in areas related to the WHO Mental Health Action Plan are invited to consider a 1-year Fellowship working in Geneva, Switzerland at WHO headquarters in the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. The final approval of funding for the program will be confirmed in December 2014 and applicants will be notified of the fellowship decision by 01 February 2015. Fellows are expected to bring their own core salary funding. Supplemental funds for travel and accommodation will be provided pending funding approval. The application deadline is 30 November 2014.
