Call for Editor – Psychology Resources Around The World
In pursuing its mission of representing the global voice of psychology, the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS) owns and runs the web portal “Psychology Resources Around The World” (PRATW). It was recently re-launched in a new technical and functional format. The portal is available to everybody and can be reached at http://psychology-resources.org or through www.iupsys.net.
It offers comprehensive and crisp information on the history of psychology, the scientific and applied constitution of the discipline, resources and tools for psychology research and teaching, provides information on psychology organizations around the globe, and offers a comprehensive conference calendar.
It is user-friendly and allows users to submit new information, for instance on events and opportunities. Careful editing is guaranteed.
At this time, IUPsyS is looking for a new Editor, who, together with a team of volunteers affiliated to the close to 90 national psychology organizations that are members of IUPsyS, will lead and maintain PRATW. At the beginning, a revision and update of existing content is required.
The Editor will receive a competitive stipend, and a lump sum for the update and revision. Training and support will be provided by the sponsoring publisher Wiley and the previous Editor.
The term for the Editor will be three years.
