IUPsyS Concern Over Blatant Racism in the USA

The International Union of Psychological Science notes with grave concern the blatant racism in the USA which has resulted in the wanton killing of African Americans and the violent response to peaceful protests by young people. As Psychology’s Global Voice we urge US leaders to create an environment that is conducive to resolving this age-old scourge which blots our quest for a common humanity, and desist from fuelling further violence against its citizens. We attach a sample of responses from our members that express our collective willingness to support meaningful resolution, especially at this fragile period when all of us are reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic.
